Here's my entry for Inspiration's second assignment! This round we had to base our entry off of a video titled Sebastian's Voodoo (which I've posted below). There's an evil voodoo man in it stabbing these poor little defenseless dolls with needles, and that's who I modeled Lotus after. She's seen here, in the middle of the dense jungle, at her secluded little hut. We're no longer allowed to explain our photos to the judges, but it seems like they all got a fairly solid idea of what I was going for here. I actually landed myself third place for this, tied with Miss
ChicagoStorm. I'm quite proud!
Here's a before and after shot to show the work I did on Lotus, taking her from a woman standing almost knee high in a river wearing a bikini to a tribal voodoo goddess. I made all accessories you see her from scratch, and I have to say, it was a really fun and rewarding experience, and I learned a lot for future edits.
